We are seeking an entry-level Flavor Compounder to join a globally respected flavor house, supporting the production and development of high-quality flavor compounds for food and beverage applications.

Position Purpose

The Compounder is responsible for accurately preparing flavor compounds according to approved formulas and production schedules. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, consistency, safety, and on-time delivery. The Compounder works closely with R&D, Quality & Operations in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Compounding & Production

  • Accurately weigh and measure raw materials and compound finished formulas according to batch sheets and SOPs
  • Follow formulation instructions to ensure flavor consistency and quality
  • Operate and clean compounding equipment
  • Label all compounds and finished goods accurately

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Adhere to GMP, food safety, and sanitation requirements
  • Report quality concerns or deviations
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas

Inventory & Materials

  • Assist with raw material handling and FIFO rotation
  • Communicate material shortages
  • Support inventory counts

Collaboration

  • Work with R&D, Quality and Operations teams 
  • Assist with samples, reworks, and peak production needs

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred including food/flavors processing, chemical handling, industrial operations
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Flavor or food manufacturing experience
  • GMP and allergen handling knowledge
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry or related

Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to food ingredients
  • Exposure to food ingredients, aromas, and allergens
  • Standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion required
  • Use of PPE as required
