We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently deliver prescriptions and pharmacy products to patients’ homes. This role is a key part of ensuring excellent patient care, maintaining confidentiality, and providing friendly service in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver medications and pharmacy items to patients on schedule
• Verify delivery information and obtain signatures when required
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Communicate professionally with patients and pharmacy staff
• Handle medications and packages with care and accuracy
• Keep delivery vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained
• Follow traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies
• Assist with in-pharmacy tasks as needed (e.g., stocking, organizing delivery logs)
• Support packing and shipping functions when required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Familiarity with the local area and navigation
• Comfortable using smartphones or delivery tracking apps
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Clear, courteous communication with patients and team members
• Ability to work independently while meeting daily deadlines
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
• Visual acuity for reading labels, addresses, and instructions
• Team-oriented mindset with collaboration across departments

Education & Experience: 

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
• Delivery or customer service experience preferred
• Pharmacy or healthcare experience is a plus but not required

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

• Primarily works outdoors driving and delivering packages throughout the community
• Frequently enters and exits the vehicle during deliveries
• May encounter varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
• Required to walk, stand, bend, reach, and lift packages up to 50 lbs
• Works inside the pharmacy for coordination, package pickup, and other support tasks
