We’re looking for a Global Payroll Specialist on behalf of a client of ours to fulfil a hybrid, contract role in Tampa for 8 months, to step in and take ownership of the payroll and benefits operations for a high-performing HR team. 

What You’ll Do

  • Handle full-cycle payroll across multiple states and 10+ countries with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Audit time, attendance, and deductions; resolve issues quickly.
  • Partner with Accounting on reconciliations, reporting, and compliance.
  • Maintain payroll and benefits records, documentation, and process guides.
  • Support benefits administration and data accuracy across HR systems.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to ensure smooth continuity and process improvements.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in payroll, including multi-state or global experience.
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance.
  • Skilled with HRIS/payroll systems (Ceridian Dayforce a plus).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling sensitive information.
  • Clear communicator with a customer-service mindset.

Bonus Points

  • Payroll certification (CPP, FPC, etc.)
  • Experience with benefits administration or open enrollment
  • Background in global or fast-growing organizations
