We’re partnering with a growing organization in the PBM and healthcare technology space looking for a Project Implementation Manager who knows how to bring structure to complexity and keep things moving.
This role sits at the center of everything, clients, internal teams, vendors, and leadership. You’ll lead both client-facing implementations and internal initiatives, making sure projects land on time, within scope, and without unnecessary chaos.
If you’re someone who can juggle multiple priorities, translate between technical and business teams, and keep stakeholders aligned (and calm), this is your kind of role.
What You’ll Do
Project Leadership & Delivery
Own projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality stay on track
Build and manage detailed project plans covering scope, resources, risks, and dependencies
Lead client implementations and internal initiatives with equal confidence
Client & PBM Implementation Execution
Drive conversations around benefit design, formulary setup, BIN/PCN configuration, pharmacy networks, prior authorization workflows, and data integrations
Lead UAT coordination, go-live readiness, and post-implementation reviews
Serve as a steady, knowledgeable point of contact for clients throughout the lifecycle
Communication & Stakeholder Management
Run effective meetings, from kickoff to status calls, with clear documentation and follow-through
Manage expectations, navigate escalations, and communicate updates with transparency and professionalism
Prepare executive-level reporting, including status updates and decision support materials
Operational Excellence
Track project health, risks, and blockers across multiple workstreams
Partner with internal teams, vendors, and third parties to keep everything aligned
Continuously improve processes, templates, and workflows to make delivery more efficient and scalable
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
3–5+ years of project management experience, including client-facing software implementations
Direct experience in the PBM space is essential
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment
Strong understanding of PBM operations, claims adjudication, formulary management, benefit design, BIN/PCN, eligibility, and integrations
What Sets You Apart
You’re equal parts operator and communicator
You can keep projects moving without creating friction
You’re comfortable navigating both technical detail and executive-level conversations
You bring structure, but you’re not rigid, you adapt when things inevitably shift
Why This Role
This is one of those roles where you’re not just managing timelines, you’re shaping how clients experience the business. Done well, your work creates clarity, confidence, and long-term partnerships.
