With over 20 years of experience, Shannon Lee is a versatile HR leader and the Founder and CEO of HR hive Consulting. Serving organizations across 38+ states, she specializes in HR Operations and HR Project Management, helping startups and small-to-medium businesses build scalable, compliant, and efficient people functions.

Shannon is a technical expert in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and payroll architecture, with deep proficiency in multiple platforms. She excels at building HR departments from the ground up, navigating complex mergers and acquisitions, and driving significant cost savings through optimized workers' compensation and retention strategies. Her commitment to excellence was recognized with the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s “People First HR Award” in 2017.

Beyond her consulting work, Shannon is deeply invested in the growth of her local Knoxville community. She serves on multiple nonprofit boards of directors, leveraging her strategic expertise to guide organizational transitions and advocacy initiatives. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communications from William Jewell College and is Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Certified.
