Samantha brings over a decade of talent solutions and HR experience to the HR Soul team. Her recruitment career began with recruiting C-Suite executives for government agencies where she took a lead role in filling business critical positions of newly created agencies. From there she moved into high volume and support staff recruiting, hiring and leading a technology team of over one hundred staff responsible for the support and development needs of an entire government department, before becoming the Head of Human Resources for the IT Department.
Samantha moved back to the US in 2016, working for a non-profit with a focus on senior care before moving onto a SaaS company, supporting the recruiting and HR needs of their development, product management, IT and finance teams. She moved into an executive role in healthcare, developing and leading the talent acquisition, talent management, and talent development functions. She then built the HR and recruiting function at a Florida-based law firm before transitioning into consulting.
She is a highly skilled HR practitioner who has led the HR functions in a multitude of public and privately held companies, as well as the non-profit sector, and PE backed companies. Her industry experience covers healthcare, education, technology, professional services and training.
Samantha’s areas of strength include talent acquisition, employee relations, human capital management, organizational restructuring, building and executing HR infrastructure, employee benefits, performance management, and organization design.
Samantha holds the SHRM-CP (Certified Professional) in the HR profession by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
In her spare time, she is a keen cyclist, an avid kayaker, and can often be found darting around in a bright orange MINI Cooper.
